Our Farm
A Strathmore Smallholding
Damside Farm is a year-round family-run Farm that offers locals a variety of fresh farm products. Our family used to own one of the largest Market Gardens in the northwest of England, specialising in Tomatoes that were enjoyed countrywide.

Since the current smallholding was acquired in 2014 we have steadily built up the requirements for supplying fresh produce. In 2017 we started producing our first selection of preserves and free range eggs, initially just for friends & family.

We now specialise in a full variety of Fruit, Vegetables, Fresh Herbs and Eggs on a small scale, to our local community, but offer customers so much more - including a selection of pantry fresh preserves, freshly cut flowers and soon our very own Strathmore Blend Coffee, roasted and blended for us in Scotland.

Our farm store is filled with fresh choices all year long. Each week we carefully handpick each fruit and vegetable in order to make sure you only purchase the freshest and best quality produce. Homemade Jams & Preserves
Pick up your Homemade Jams & Preserves from Damside Farm. We have been told by many of our friends & customers that they simply love our Homemade Jams & Preserves, and we can’t say we blame them. That’s because everything we grow at Damside Farm is grown with love, so our food looks better, smells better, and tastes better. Try it out yourself.
Fresh Herbs
We’re proud to offer our customers wholesome and seasonal Fresh Herbs. Take home a readymade basket or customise your own. There are lots to choose from, and our offerings change depending on the time of year so you’ll always be surprised when you visit us. You should know that everything we sell is grown responsibly to Wholesome Food Association standards and picked in season, so you can fully enjoy nature’s gifts.
Tea & Biscuits ... and maybe a coffee
Who doesn't like a warming brew with a biscuit to dunk? Our farmhouse biscuits go perfectly with our selection of teas. We also stock several blends of coffee from Forth Coffee Roasters, including Fairtrade, and a water-processed decaffeinated single origin so there's always a fresh coffee for every taste.
Farm Fresh Fruit & Vegetables
We produce a wide variety of fresh fruit & vegetables at Damside Farm, all grown and produced using time-honoured, ‘natural’ methods, such as crop rotation, composting, mulching and the avoidance of all harmful chemicals. We like to think the production, processing and distribution of food should be socially just and ecologically responsible.
Cut Flowers
Our fresh cut flowers are available at select times of the year, depending on the varieties growing. Beautiful, bold daffodils brighten up any home - usually available between March and May.
All of our products are hand-packaged and made with love.
We are Food Safety & Hygiene and HACCP trained, and registered with Angus Council.
An Environmental and Natural Farm
We believe that natural and fresh food is fundamental to a healthy lifestyle. Our mission is to grow quality, nutritious produce, while engaging with the local community. As an affiliated Wholesome Food Association producer we also promote sustainable and socially responsible farming by using the most environmentally friendly growing techniques.
